Done under IV sedation or general anaesthesia.
Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) is a procedure used to treat droopy eyelids. During this surgery, the skin, muscle, and sometimes fat is removed, that may be causing the area around eyes to sag. The blepharoplasty procedure resolves functional and cosmetic problems of the periorbita, which is the area from the eyebrow to the upper portion of the cheek.
Done under IV sedation or general anaesthesia.
It is a day care procedure, patient may be discharged on the day of surgery.
A physical exam is conducted to look at and measure the eyes. Vision and tear tests are also performed. Pictures of eyelids will be taken to assess the measurement during the procedure. It important to ask the history of taking the following medication
Patient advised to stop taking anything that increases bleeding risks, such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) or warfarin. Advise the patient to stop smoking several weeks before a blepharoplasty.
A blepharoplasty operation usually requires 1–3 hours to complete.
Post-operatively, the initial swelling and bruising consequent to the surgery will subside and resolve with 1–2 weeks; the final, stable results of the blepharoplastic correction will become apparent after several months.
The anatomic condition of the eyelids, the quality of the patient’s skin, his or her age, and the general condition of the adjacent tissues, consequent to the anatomic conditions of the patient, affect the functional and aesthetic results achieved with the eyelid surgery.
Blepharoplasties are performed on an outpatient basis, patient can go home shortly after the procedure. General anaesthesia is only used for some people. Numbing agent is injected into the eyelids.
The upper eyelids are addressed first. Here, a small cut made and remove excess skin, as well as muscle and sometimes fat. Some of these tissues might be moved to other areas surrounding the eye before your surgeon closes the incision.
The lower lid blepharoplasty usually involves removal of fat, which contributes to the under-eye bags, as well as sometimes removing a small amount of skin. The incision may either be on the inside of the eyelid or on the outside underneath the lower eyelashes. In some people, the lower eyelid may be tightened or secured to the bony skeleton.
A natural dimple is the result of a small opening in a muscle in the cheek called the buccinator muscle. Even though the cause of dimple is a defect in the muscle, in many cultures it is seen as a highly attractive trait. Dimples are considered a sign of youth and beauty which accentuate the smile of the person possessing them.
Although it’s a hereditary trait, it can be created with a minimally invasive surgical procedure called dimpleplasty.
Prior to your procedure, surgeon will mark the area with you so you are fully aware of the planned dimple placement. During the procedure, will make a small opening inside the mouth and work on the buccinator muscle inside the cheek to create a natural-looking dimple. The inside of the cheek is closed with dissolvable stitches and you’re able to resume most normal activities following the short procedure.
Dimple creation surgery is a quick, relatively painless, outpatient procedure. A dimple creation procedure takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia with or without sedation. To create dimples, the surgery is performed on the inside of the cheek and there are no scars or incisions on the outside skin.
The sutures dissolve and absorbs in about 2 weeks and the skin softens which creates a more natural appearance. When the internal tissue heals, it connects the cheek muscle to the skin, thus creating a dimple when smiling. This period could vary from a few days to several weeks depending on the healing and the extent of tissue removed. It typically takes a few weeks for your new dimple to look natural. You will be able to eat after the surgery, but it is recommended to wait until the anaesthesia wears off.
Earlobe repair is usually done to repair torn, stretched or damaged earlobes, usually as a result of trauma or wear and tear from heavy jewellery.
After earlobe repair, stitches are typically removed after 1 week, and the earlobe can be re-pierced once the area has fully healed, which is after 6 weeks. When piercing your ears again, you should not get the same spot pierced, as the scar tissue may cause complications.
Torn ear lobe won't heal on its own.The lobe is fully torn through, that also won't healwithout sutures. The procedure is not difficult or painful. It takes around 30 minutes to suture the torn ear lobe.
Lip reduction surgery is typically performed using local or regional anaesthesia. It takes about an hour to complete, but your time in surgery may be longer if other procedures are performed at the same time as your lip reduction.
The surgeon first makes an incision along the length of your lip, usually on the inside of the mouth. Next, he or she removes a strip of tissue before suturing the incision. This surgery can be performed on both the upper and lower lips at the same time.
Swelling and bruising are expected after lip reduction surgery but subside about 5 to 7 days after surgery.
Ear surgery, also known as otoplasty, can improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear. A defect in the ear structure that is present at birth or that becomes apparent with development can be corrected by otoplasty.
This procedure can also treat misshapen ears caused by injury. Otoplasty creates a more natural shape while bringing balance and proportion to the ears and face. Correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefits to appearance and self-esteem.

Ear surgery is a highly individualized procedure and you should do it for yourself, not to fulfill someone else's desires or to try to fit any sort of ideal image.
It takes at least 6 weeks for 50% of the swelling to diminish, 80% within six months, and one year for the final shape to be obtained. However, within 2-3 weeks your ears will look remarkably better.
